Teleservice
and Commissioning of Plants through Telecommunication
Today,
convenient engineering tools faciliate full teleservice for plants via
the telephone network to quickly and safely take remedial action in case
of interferences and production problems. Thus, customer demands can be
met in a well-directed way by the best form of support, resulting in largely
enhanced production safety and plant availability. By remote control technology,
a service PC can get in contact with a plant PC and then be used as if
it were located on the plant. Linked up that way, the plant PC can be
controlled through the service PC from any place in the world, as if you
were on site. By means of remote control, you gain access to all data
and settings.
